Privacy Policy for Kindlume

This policy is separated into three areas.

A) Processing by the Kindlume app: sections 3 to 7 and 9.

B) Apple system services and device backups: section 8.

C) The tommsel.com website and hosting: section 10.

Kindlume requires no user account and no login. The app works offline and shows no advertising. Personal relationship data is stored locally on your device. Kindlume is not a social network and offers no public profile.

In Kindlume you create information yourself, for example people profiles, moments, notes, birthdays, anniversaries, and personal events as well as daily or weekly prompts. The timeline displays this information.

This information also concerns other people. You decide what you enter. Kindlume processes it locally on your device to display profiles, timeline, and reminders.

For reminders and prompts, Kindlume can use local notifications on your device. iOS asks for your permission. You can change it at any time in iOS Settings. Whether and how notifications appear on the lock screen is also controlled in iOS Settings.

Kindlume uses no app analytics, advertising, or advertising tracking.

Kindlume does not rate relationships, does not calculate relationship quality, and makes no automatic outcome promises. The app is not a psychological or therapeutic application.

When Kindlume runs on your device, Apple system services are involved, for example iOS for notifications, the App Store for download and updates, and device backups such as iCloud Backup or backups made through a computer. Depending on your device settings, app data can be included in such backups.

This processing is carried out by Apple and is governed by Apple's own privacy information. This policy does not describe it.

You can delete local app data through the app's functions or by removing the app from your device. Available iOS options can differ. Device backups remain independently and must be deleted by you.

When you visit tommsel.com, including hosting, server logs, and any website services, the general tommsel.com privacy policy applies. This processing is separate from processing by the Kindlume app.

Where the legal requirements are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can contact tshfm78@gmail.com and have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
