SafeCodeScan— Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies specifically to the product SafeCodeScan.

1. Local Scanning and Generation

SafeCodeScan scans, decodes, generates and designs QR codes and barcodes in the browser. Code contents are not intended to be uploaded to a backend API for normal workflows.

2. Camera Access

Camera access is controlled by the browser and requires user permission. Camera frames are used for local scanning and should not be stored by SafeCodeScan.

3. No Accounts or Central Code Database

SafeCodeScan is intended to work without accounts, registration or a central database of scanned or generated codes.

4. Exports and Printing

Generated codes and print layouts are rendered locally and exported by the browser. Users are responsible for checking code contents before printing or publishing them.

5. Hosting and Optional Third Parties

The public website may be hosted through Vercel. If advertising or analytics are used, those scripts should only load after consent where required.
