EtsyScope is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that shows you real time analytics directly on every Etsy page. You get instant feedback on your listing quality, can estimate sales figures and find profitable niches without leaving Etsy.

The extension integrates seamlessly into the Etsy interface and shows you data that Etsy itself does not provide. You can see at a glance how well your title, tags and images are optimized. You can also analyze any shop and any listing from your competition.

EtsyScope was specifically built for Etsy sellers who want to improve their listings and discover new market opportunities.

As soon as you open an Etsy page, EtsyScope automatically detects the page type: listing, shop or search result. Different analyses are displayed depending on the context.

On listing pages, EtsyScope calculates a quality score for title, tags, images and description. You get color coded rating bars and concrete improvement suggestions with priority levels.

On shop pages, you see an overall shop rating, a breakdown by categories and a comparison with the market average.

For search results, EtsyScope analyzes the competition in the niche: ad density, price distribution and saturation level. This helps you find niches with low competition and high demand.

The tag analysis shows you not only which tags you are using, but also how many of the 13 possible tag slots are still free. EtsyScope automatically suggests keywords from your title that you could use as additional tags.

The sales estimate is based on a statistical model that takes into account review data, shop age, listing age and category specific conversion rates. The estimates are displayed with a confidence level so you know how reliable the numbers are.

The shop comparison calculates an overall score for each shop based on listing quality, average rating, product variety and pricing strategy. You can compare your own shop with competitors and see in which areas you perform better or worse.

All calculations take place locally in the browser. No data is sent to external servers.

EtsyScope is built with JavaScript and uses the Manifest V3 format. The extension uses content scripts that embed directly into Etsy pages and read the existing page elements.

The analysis algorithms run entirely in the browser. There is no backend server and no external API. Sales estimates are based on publicly visible review data and statistical models.

The extension UI is injected into the Etsy page via Shadow DOM to avoid conflicts with the existing styling.

Install EtsyScope from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. After installation, the EtsyScope icon appears in your browser bar.

As soon as you visit an Etsy page, EtsyScope becomes active automatically. There is no configuration and no registration. The analysis overlays appear directly on the Etsy page.

The free version offers 3 analyses per category per day. For unlimited analyses there is the Pro version.

EtsyScope works entirely locally in your browser. No data is transmitted to our own or third party servers. The extension only reads publicly visible information from Etsy pages.

There is no tracking, no analytics cookies and no registration. Your Etsy login credentials are never read or stored.
