How does type & speak work?
Enter text and have it spoken aloud through an available system voice. You can adjust the speaking speed and voice in the settings.
How do I amplify my voice?
Enable voice amplification in Voxavo Pro. Your voice is amplified through the speaker while the feature is in use.
Why does Voxavo need microphone access?
The microphone is needed exclusively for active voice amplification and is used only while the feature is actually in use.
Is audio recorded or stored?
No. Voxavo does not store audio recordings or audio files. The voice of the person you are speaking with is not recorded.
What is the difference between app language and communication language?
The app language affects the interface (German or English). The communication language affects the spoken output and can be set independently.
How do I change the voice and communication language?
Open Settings in Voxavo and select the desired system voice and communication language there.
How does the voice sample work?
In the voice settings, you can play a short sample of the selected voice before setting it.
What is “Large & Clear”?
Large & Clear enlarges text and controls for better readability.
How do I change the accent color?
Choose one of the available accent colors in Settings.
How do “My Phrases” work?
In Voxavo Pro, you can save frequently used phrases, mark them as favorites, and manually arrange them in your own order.
How does history work?
The optional history in Voxavo Pro shows previously spoken text locally on your device. You can turn it off, delete it, or move entries into My Phrases.
What is free?
Voxavo Free includes type & speak, voice selection with a sample, speaking speed, Large & Clear, accent colors, and the German/English interface.
What does Voxavo Pro offer?
Pro adds voice amplification, My Phrases, favorites, manual ordering, history, and amplification profiles. Voxavo Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription through the App Store.
How do I restore purchases?
Use the restore function in Voxavo to restore your subscription through StoreKit with your Apple ID.
What happens when Pro expires?
When Pro expires or is revoked, Pro features such as voice amplification, My Phrases, and history are locked; the app returns to Free. Locally stored data remains available.
Does Voxavo work with Bluetooth or external audio devices?
Voxavo uses the audio outputs provided by the iPhone. Behavior with external devices depends on the respective iOS system settings.
How do I delete my data?
Local data can be deleted through the app's functions and settings, as well as by removing the app from the device.
