My alarm does not ring
Check AlarmKit permission, whether the alarm is active, and test the alarm on your device. A real alarm test is more meaningful than the displayed media volume. iOS and device state can affect behaviour.

What about Silent Mode and Focus?
WakeGate schedules alarms through Apple’s system alarm infrastructure. Check iOS settings and test your alarm in your usual device state.
How does snooze work?
Snooze follows the setting of the relevant alarm profile. Check that setting when editing the alarm.
Why does a Wake Mission start?
After the system stop, WakeGate can open a configured Wake Mission. On a locked device, Apple decides about unlocking and foreground presentation.
Why does WakeGate need the camera?
Only for an Exercise Mission. Movement for push-ups or squats is assessed on device; images and frames are not stored or uploaded. Check camera permission and sufficient light when repetitions are not recognised.
How do I set up an NFC tag?
For new setup, a tag must be NDEF-compatible and writable. NTAG213, NTAG215, and NTAG216 are typical examples, but not the only potentially supported tags.
What happens with an already written or read-only tag?
An already writable tag is overwritten only after your explicit confirmation. Existing WakeGate tags can be imported and read-only WakeGate tags can be read. Read-only tags cannot be rewritten or cleared.
Can I replace, remove, or clear a tag?
You can remove a tag locally from WakeGate. On user action, WakeGate can clear the NDEF area of a writable tag; this is not a factory reset and does not erase all physical memory.
How do Pro, restore, and cancellation work?
Free allows up to three active alarm profiles. Pro enables unlimited active alarm profiles and is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing Apple subscription. Purchase, restore, management, and cancellation are handled through Apple; Apple displays price and currency.
How do I delete data and find privacy information?
Local data can be deleted through app functions and by removing the app. Details are in the WakeGate privacy policy.
