Terms of Use for Wavevra
1. Scope
These Terms of Use apply to the Wavevra iPhone app by Tom Silas Helmke and supplement Apple's Standard EULA for licensing terms, linked at the end of this page. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. App functionality
Wavevra is a locally oriented app for audio analysis and visualization. It analyzes audio signals and presents frequency, level, and waveform information both technically and creatively. Wavevra is not a calibrated sound level meter and does not provide calibrated dB SPL, dBA, dBC, or LUFS values.
3. User content
Audio and video content you record or import remains your property. You are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to record, import, and process this content in Wavevra, particularly with regard to copyright, personality rights, and other third-party rights.
4. System requirements and device capability
Wavevra requires a compatible iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Individual recording, analysis, or export combinations may be available differently depending on device, iOS version, and system state. It is not guaranteed that every export or quality combination is available or works on every device.
5. Free and Wavevra Pro
Wavevra Free includes, among other things, live analysis, technical views, measurements, local projects, and a core recording and export workflow. Wavevra Pro expands, among other things, visual styles, palettes, and recording and export options, and removes Wavevra branding from Pro exports. The feature scope of Free and Pro may change with future app versions.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Wavevra Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription through Apple StoreKit 2; both options unlock the same Pro feature set. An introductory offer is shown and granted only when Apple actually confirms eligibility for it. Payment and automatic renewal are handled through your Apple ID under App Store terms. Apple displays the current price for your region before purchase. Purchases can be restored through StoreKit. Management and cancellation are handled through Apple. Refunds are subject to Apple's process and statutory consumer rights; Tommsel does not offer a separate refund guarantee.
7. Availability and changes
Features may be developed, changed, or discontinued where legally permitted and with due regard to users' legitimate interests.
8. Liability
Tommsel is fully liable for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and where mandatory law requires it. For a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Apple's standard license agreement
In addition to these Terms of Use, Apple's Standard EULA (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) applies to obtaining Wavevra through the App Store. Wavevra does not use its own, different license agreement.
