FixCosts is a web platform that helps you keep track of all your subscriptions, contracts and recurring costs. You enter your monthly expenses and immediately see how much you spend per month and per year.

Many people underestimate their fixed costs. A streaming subscription here, a gym membership there, plus phone, internet and insurance. FixCosts makes these hidden costs visible and helps you identify unnecessary expenses.

With automatic cancellation reminders you never miss a deadline again. The payment calendar shows you when each debit is due. And in the European country comparison you can see how your fixed costs compare in an international context.

You create a free account and enter your recurring costs: name, amount, interval and if applicable the cancellation date. FixCosts automatically calculates your monthly and yearly total costs.

The dashboard shows you an overview of all active expenses, upcoming deadlines and potential savings. When a cancellation deadline approaches, you receive a reminder.

The payment calendar visualizes all debits in a monthly view. This way you can see at a glance on which days money will be debited.

In the country comparison you can compare your total costs with the average of other European countries.

For couples and families, FixCosts provides a shared overview. Often one partner does not know which subscriptions the other has signed up for. When both enter their costs, the actual total burden becomes visible.

Students living alone for the first time use FixCosts to keep track of their first contracts. The cancellation reminders are especially helpful because many initial contracts (phone, gym) are automatically renewed if you miss the deadline.

The European country comparison is particularly interesting if you are considering moving to another country. You can see how your fixed costs compare to other countries and better estimate the cost of living.

FixCosts is built as a web app with Next.js and TypeScript. The backend uses Supabase for database and authentication. Payments for premium features are processed through Stripe.

The application is usable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and can be installed on your smartphone like a native app.

All financial data is stored encrypted in the Supabase database on European servers.

The basic version with up to 10 contracts is permanently free. For unlimited entries and premium features there are upgrade options.

FixCosts accepts all common payment methods: credit card, SEPA direct debit, PayPal and instant bank transfer. All payments are processed through the secure payment provider Stripe.

The cancellation reminders ensure you never miss a deadline and do not unintentionally slip into a contract renewal.

Your financial data is protected with 256 bit SSL encryption and stored GDPR compliant on European servers. FixCosts never sells data to third parties and has no access to your bank details.

Authentication runs through Supabase Auth. Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our own servers.
