Binavelle Accessibility
Binavelle is being developed with accessibility in mind. This page factually describes the measures planned at the current development status. Binavelle does not claim a formal accessibility certification or conformance with a specific standard.
German and English in the app
You can switch the language directly in Binavelle between German and English.
Dynamic Type
Text sizes are designed to adapt to the font sizes set in iOS.
VoiceOver
Core controls are designed for VoiceOver support. Using the app with VoiceOver has not yet been fully tested on real devices.
Touch targets
Controls are designed for tap areas of at least 44 pt.
Status not conveyed by color alone
Important states are not conveyed by color alone but also through text or symbols.
Live signal view
The live signal visualization is designed not to convey any information through color or animation alone. Frequencies and relevant states are also available as text or as an accessibility value.
Light and dark
Binavelle supports the light and dark appearance of iOS.
Reduce Motion
If you enable Reduce Motion in iOS, Binavelle reduces the corresponding animations.
Adaptive layouts
Layouts are designed to adapt to different iPhone sizes.
Not yet fully tested
Not yet conclusively tested are using the app with Voice Control, fully instrument measured contrast, and a complete accessibility audit on real devices. No WCAG conformance and no complete accessibility is claimed.
