Keyvessa Accessibility

Keyvessa is in development. This page honestly describes the current state. There is no final confirmation of accessibility yet, because testing on real devices is not complete.

Native iPhone app and system functions

Keyvessa is a native iPhone app. System functions such as the photo and file picker and the share sheet come from iOS and bring their accessibility features with them. Which controls of the app itself are standard iOS components will be confirmed during the device checks.

VoiceOver

VoiceOver labels and a clear focus order are still being verified on real devices before release.

Dynamic Type and scaling layouts

Support for larger text sizes and scaling layouts is still being verified on real devices before release.

Light and dark, contrast, motion

Light and dark appearance, sufficient contrast, Reduce Motion and status that is not conveyed by color alone are still being verified on real devices before release.

Touch targets and forms

Sufficiently large touch targets and the use of input fields with the keyboard are still being verified on real devices before release.

Known limitations

A list of confirmed limitations will be added after the device checks. Until then, an item only counts as supported once it has been confirmed on a real device. This also applies to the later entry in App Store Connect.

This website

The Keyvessa pages on tommsel.com are designed with WCAG 2.2 AA as a technical quality target. This does not declare conformance, and automated checks do not replace a complete manual review.

Reporting barriers

Report barriers through the Keyvessa support page. Please include the device model, the iOS version, the affected screen and the accessibility feature you use. Do not send confidential photos, recovery keys or QR codes by email.
