Puckivo Accessibility

Puckivo is being built with accessibility as part of the product architecture. This page describes confirmed features and points that will be verified further on real devices before release. Puckivo does not claim complete accessibility.

German and English

The app interface is built completely in German and English.

VoiceOver

Core navigation and important controls have accessibility labels. The Arena Builder offers additional accessible actions. A complete check with VoiceOver on real devices is still open before release, so full VoiceOver support is not claimed.

Dynamic Type

Text areas use adaptive font sizes as far as the current state of development confirms it. The check with the largest sizes is still open before release.

Large touch targets

Core controls are built at about 44 pt or larger, in line with the current state of the app audit.

Reduce Motion

Puckivo respects the iOS setting “Reduce Motion” for non-essential animations.

Reduced effects

In-game effects can be reduced.

Not only color

Medals and important states are not conveyed by color alone.

Contrast

Puck, paddles, HUD, and player colors use contrast and outline logic. Whether every arena and theme has sufficient contrast is being verified further before release.

Limits of the game itself

Air hockey is a fast, spatially oriented real-time game. Despite accessible navigation, certain game mechanics may not be fully equivalent to operate for some users.

This website

The Puckivo pages on tommsel.com are designed with WCAG 2.2 AA as a technical quality target, with semantic HTML, keyboard operability, visible focus, and a respected reduced motion setting. This is not a declaration of conformance, and automated checks do not replace a complete manual review. Whether and to what extent the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) applies to Puckivo or this website has not been finally reviewed.

Accessibility feedback

If you notice a barrier in Puckivo or need a specific accessibility feature, contact us through the support page. If possible, mention your device, iOS version, the affected mode, and the assistive technology you use.
