App support

Puckivo Support

Puckivo is a local air hockey and arcade game for iPhone and iPad. The app is in development and not yet available on the App Store. Find help here with matches, bots, the two player mode, missions, sandbox, Arena Builder, and later the Full Game Unlock.

Puckivo does not start or a match does not begin

Update the app, restart it, and check that your device has enough free storage.

Does Puckivo work offline?

The core game, missions, bots, local two player matches, sandbox, and your own arenas work without an online backend of our own. A later purchase or restoring a purchase is handled through Apple and can need an internet connection.

How do I play with two players?

Choose Local 2 Player. Both people control their own paddle at the same time on the same device.

Why does a bot behave differently?

Difficulty levels and bot personalities affect reaction time, positioning, and play style. Bots do not get deliberately unfair physics advantages.

Where is my progress stored?

Missions, medals, unlocks, settings, and your own arenas are stored locally on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync from Puckivo.

What happens when I delete the app?

Local app data can be lost in the process, such as progress, unlocks, and your own arenas. Restoring it is not promised.

How do the sandbox and Arena Builder work?

Your own arenas and challenges are created and stored locally. Sandbox and creator matches do not change the official mission and mastery progression.

How do purchases work?

A one-time Full Game Unlock is planned. Purchases will later be handled exclusively through Apple's StoreKit. Puckivo does not store credit card details. No purchase is possible at the moment.

How do I change the language?

Puckivo supports German and English. Which language the app uses and where you change it will be described here at release, according to the final implementation.

How do I delete local data?

Use the reset and delete functions in the app as far as they exist. Which functions the final version offers will be described at release. Removing all local data completely is always possible by deleting the app, as far as iOS provides for app data.
