Privacy Policy for Lovikora

This policy describes processing by the Lovikora iOS app, a personal heart clicker for iPhone. It describes Lovikora and not the website. Visiting tommsel.com itself, including hosting, server logs, and website services, is governed by the general tommsel.com privacy policy.

Lovikora is in development. This policy describes the current product status and will be checked against the final state of the app before release.

Lovikora uses no user account of its own, no server database of its own, and no cloud sync of its own. Your content is processed on your iPhone. The provider does not receive it and, at the current status, has no access to it unless you send it to the provider yourself.

Lovikora stores on your device what you create and set in the game: heart profiles with names, photos, and dedications, heartbeats, thoughts, love sparks and upgrades, achievements and streaks, statistics, selected styles, settings, memory cards, your own heart recipes, and imported click sounds.

This content can contain names and photos of people close to you. You decide what you record.

You choose a profile photo through the iOS photo picker. Lovikora stores a copy locally in the app. You can replace or remove the photo at any time. Use only photos you have sufficient rights to and respect the personal rights of the people shown.

Heartbeats and thoughts are counted locally and summarised in statistics. The “Thinking of you” feature sends no message to another person and transmits nothing to a server. It records the thought locally.

Love sparks are a virtual in game currency with no monetary value. Game progress, upgrades, achievements, medals, and heart streaks are stored locally and not transmitted to the provider.

Your own heart recipes are settings for material, colours, and effects and are stored locally. You choose your own sound files through the iOS file picker, and Lovikora stores them locally. You are responsible for using only files you have the necessary rights to.

So that widgets can show current information, the app makes the data needed for display available to the widget extension through an App Group. This data exchange stays on your device. A widget on the Home Screen can make information visible that other people looking at your device can see, such as a profile name.

If you enable reminders, Lovikora uses local notifications from iOS. The app asks for your permission. The notifications are scheduled and delivered on your iPhone, not through a server. You can change the permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Memory cards are created locally as an image. A card can contain names, photos, and dedications. Only when you send a card through the iOS share function to an app, a service, or a person does it go there, and their terms and privacy notices apply.

You can create and restore a complete local backup as a .herzbackup file. At the current status, the file is not password encrypted. End to end encryption is not promised. A backup file can contain profiles, photos, dedications, and other personal content. Store it safely and share it only with people or services you trust. Lovikora does not upload the file automatically.

You store, share, or open backup files, cards, and sounds through the iOS file picker and share function, for example in Files, iCloud Drive, by email, or with a third party provider. The respective service processes the file under its own terms. Local app storage does not mean that a file you deliberately place with an external provider would not be stored there.

Lovikora Pro is planned as a one time Lifetime purchase through Apple, without a subscription. Purchase, payment, and restore run through Apple StoreKit. Lovikora does not enter and does not receive payment details. The app checks whether Pro is unlocked using the entitlement that Apple provides. Apple processes purchases under Apple's terms and privacy notices.

According to the current product specification, Lovikora contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs of its own, shows no advertising, and operates no tracking servers of its own. This statement will be checked against the final app code before release.

At the current status, Lovikora can request the following permissions: access to photos you selected for profile pictures and notifications for reminders. You open files through the iOS file picker. You can change any permission at any time in iOS Settings.

You can delete profiles, content, and your own hearts in the app. Removing the app deletes its local data as far as iOS provides for it. You delete backup files, cards, and sounds outside the app there yourself. iOS device backups can contain app data, depending on your settings. Because the provider does not receive your content, the provider cannot delete it on request.

Your data is in the app's protected storage area on your iPhone. The protection mechanisms of iOS apply, such as the device lock and device passcode. No system is completely secure. Lovikora can only implement the measures the app and iOS provide.

When you visit tommsel.com, including hosting, server logs, and any website services, the general tommsel.com privacy policy applies. This processing is separate from processing by the Lovikora app.

Where the legal requirements are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent given, with effect for the future. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).

You send privacy requests and support questions to tshfm78@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords, complete backup files, or confidential profile photos by email unprompted. If you voluntarily send us data, we process it only to answer your request.
