Mentelys is a privacy-first, local-first iPhone app in development. Twelve adaptive training exercises span six areas, alongside separate checkpoints and Personal Recall as an additional practical recall feature. The app is not publicly available on the App Store yet.

Six training areas
Mentelys covers Control, Working Memory, Reasoning, Attention & Speed, Planning, and Everyday Memory, with twelve adaptive training exercises and six separate checkpoints in total. The exercises draw on established task principles involving attention, working memory, reasoning, planning, and retrieval practice.

Daily, Quick, Deep Think, and more
Daily Training (about 5–10 minutes), Quick Training (about 3–5 minutes), Deep Think (about 10–15 minutes), Focus Area for a targeted area, and Free Training with free exercise choice fit different moments. Adaptive difficulty adjusts the challenge step by step.

Training Balance, Level, and Checkpoints
Training Balance shows how evenly the six areas have been trained. Training Level shows the current challenge stage within the Mentelys exercises. Checkpoint Trends are separate personal progress measurements. Streak, Engagement XP, Engagement Level, Achievements, Personal Bests, and Weekly and Monthly Reviews complete the overview. XP and Engagement Level reflect usage and activity only and are not a statement about intelligence or cognitive ability.

Personal Recall
Personal Recall lets you store your own things you want to remember locally, such as a cue and its answer. The app later asks the cue first and shows the answer only on request. Spaced retrieval organizes further recalls locally. Personal Recall is not a cognitive score and does not feed into domain or checkpoint values. Content does not automatically appear in widgets, notification previews, share cards, analytics, logs, or general training metrics.

Privacy first, local first
Mentelys requires no user account, no login, and no custom backend. Your training data stays on your device. Purchases are handled through Apple's StoreKit infrastructure. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no external AI.

Free and one-time Full Unlock
Mentelys offers a free starting experience and an optional one-time Full Unlock through the App Store. The current price is shown by the App Store before purchase. There is no subscription.

Not a medical product
Mentelys is designed for cognitive training and personal progress tracking. It does not provide a medical diagnosis and is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Mentelys is not an IQ test, not a brain age test, and does not use leaderboards.
