How do I get started?
Start by capturing a thought in the inbox. You do not have to sort anything right away. Later you turn it into a task, a project, a goal or an identity and connect them.

Priovue Support
Priovue is an iPhone app for ideas, tasks, projects and goals and is in development. The app is not yet available on the App Store. This help describes the planned scope, and functions that are not released yet are marked as planned. It will be updated after the final app version. Please do not send complete backups or confidential content by email unprompted.
How do I capture an idea quickly?
By text or by voice. The Action button and App Shortcuts are also meant to give you a quick way in.
What is the inbox?
The inbox collects thoughts that are not sorted yet. From there you assign them when you have time.
What is the difference between tasks, projects, goals and identities?
A task is a concrete to-do, a project bundles tasks, a goal describes an objective, and an identity is an overarching personal goal.
How do I connect items?
Select an item and add connections to other items. One task can serve several projects or goals. Connections are meant to be possible through a selection or menu as well, not only by drag and drop.
How does progress work?
Progress ranges from 0 to 100 percent and can be set manually or calculated from connected items, depending on context. It is an orientation aid and not an objective assessment.
How do I use voice capture?
Start a recording deliberately in the app. The speech is converted to text locally and saved as an entry. Voice capture is planned.
Why does Priovue ask for microphone and speech recognition permission?
The permissions are only needed when you use voice capture. You can change them at any time in iOS Settings. Without them, text input remains usable.
What happens to my recording?
After successful transcription and safe storage of the entry, the temporary audio file is removed. If transcription fails, a pending recording can remain locally. You can process it again or delete it.
How do I set up the Action button and App Shortcuts?
Open iOS Settings or the Shortcuts app and choose the Priovue action for the Action button there, if your iPhone has one. This integration is planned.
How do I change colors and views?
Projects and nodes can get their own colors. Lists, focus view and graph show the same data. Light mode and dark mode are planned. Important information is never conveyed by color alone.
How do I back up my data?
Backup and restore are planned for Free. You create the backup yourself and store it where you want. It can contain personal content, so keep it safe.
How do I export my content?
Basic exports are planned for Free, as well as PDF and printable overviews. Exports only happen when you trigger them.
How does the optional iCloud sync work?
It is planned and not implemented yet. You are meant to be able to activate iCloud optionally to sync data between your own Apple devices. It runs through Apple's service, not through a Tommsel server. Without activation, Priovue stays local.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Create a backup on the old iPhone, transfer it to the new one and restore it there in Priovue. With the planned iCloud sync, this is meant to work that way later as well.
How do I use widgets?
Widgets are planned for a later version. Once they are available, you add them from the Home Screen.
Why does a reminder not appear?
Check the notification permission in iOS Settings as well as Focus and delivery options. Whether and when notifications appear depends on the system state, and guaranteed delivery is not promised.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free is planned as a permanently usable base version. Pro extends depth and power user features. Neither is available on the App Store yet.
How do I restore purchases?
Once purchases exist, you use restore purchases in the app with the Apple ID you bought with. It runs through Apple StoreKit and can require an internet connection.
How do I delete my data?
Delete entries, projects, goals and pending recordings in the app. Removing the app deletes its local data as far as iOS provides for it. You delete backups and exports where you stored them.
